Ok, so lately I haven't done too well. It's my own fault. I celebrated my son's 1st Birthday, and have not eaten so great during the past week or so. Plus, my exercising has stopped!! AHHH!!
But, tomorrow is a new day! I'm getting my butt back in gear, and am going to lose some weight by my daughter's 5th birthday. As long as I can lose 10lbs by August 9th, I'll be very happy with myself.

So Proud of Myself
I’m super proud of myself. Why you may ask? I’m down 5.5lbs!!! YAY!!! I’ve really been watching how much I’ve been eating. For the past week I’ve done great at getting in a workout each day. Some days it’s not much and others I bust my butt. I’ve decided that I’m not going to post my weight, but, rather, post my weight loss each week. I'm still in shock that I lost a whole 5 lbs. The picture of the fat I posted a while back; I lost that much!!!
DH has been working out with me as well. A few days ago, we bought a bench for free weights, a power tower (for dips, pull ups and AB exercises), and AB bench. It feels great adding in some strength training to my workouts. We try to workout together. It’s great having someone go through it right then and there with you.
We also took out measurements and weights yesterday. Every Sunday we’ll take them and see how we’re doing. I’m hoping to be down another 5 lbs next week. I would be over the moon if I were down to my goal weight by August. I’ve just got to keep up this motivation.
I am pretty sore still, but it's a good sore. I definitely can feel some muscles I don’t normally use. Yesterday, I was really sore. Every time I moved I could feel ALL my muscles in my mid-section, my arms, deltoids, back and thighs. I can wait to lose some of this blubber on my mid-sections and have a small trimmed waist.
I’m off to eat some breakfast, and see about taking the kidlets to the park for a bit of fun.

Exercised Today
I actually got my butt out of bead at 4am this morning. The best part is that I actually EXERCISED!!! Lol Whew, I’m so tired right now, but I feel pretty good. I can’t lie and say great, because I don’t feel great. I almost went back to sleep after nursing the baby, but I didn’t-I’m so proud of myself for that. Now, if I can eat fairly decent today, I should be able to keep the trend for tomorrow and so on.
I didn’t do too much this morning. I did the treadmill for roughly 30 min. and about 10 min. or so of it was me ACTUALLY running. I also did some AB exercises, which felt great, but I couldn’t do too many. I thought my mid-section was going to fall right off.
I need to get in a habit of getting up early and exercising, since I’m going to be starting back at college this Fall. I’m not going to have time to exercise during the day. Plus, on a mommy online group I belong too, there are a few of us doing a weight loss challenge. We’re doing it for 10 weeks, to enter it costs $10 and who ever loses the most weight gets the money. Oh, but there is a catch, for every pound that you gain, you must pay a dollar. We’re going to be officially starting the challenge this coming Monday.
Would it be mean for some boxes of chocolates to mysterious show up on their door steps? ;) I kid, I kid!!! Lol
My eating hasn’t been too bad lately. That’s a good start, right? I am feeling pretty tired. I went to bed last night at 9pm. Yes, 9pm, but my DH woke me up around 10pm or so coming in from his night class. For almost 2 freaking hours I laid there, not being able to fall back asleep. I was a bit mad about it, but oh well.
I think on Sunday I’ll post my weight. Maybe that will make me work harder knowing pp could be reading it. Guess only time will tell if it will work or not.
Here’s hoping that I can still walk tomorrow without feeling like my limbs will fall off.

Why is this so hard?
Losing weight shouldn't be this hard, but it is. It's really starting to annoy me. Some days I feel as if I can't find the time or energy to exercise. I know I need too, but I don't. I need to get my butt in gear. I've got to do something.
I'm finally starting to feel a bit better from having a headcold. Hopefully I'll be able to get up tomorrow morning and exercise like I would like too. I would like to lose 25lbs. It doesn't sound like that much most days, but today it feels like a ton.
Here's hoping that tomorrow I do better.
Things I need to do

Things I need to do
- Exercise
- Drink a ton of water
- Eat right and smaller portions
- Did I say exercise yet? lol
This picture shows what 5 lbs of fat looks like. I need and want to lose 5 of those suckers. *gasps* How gross is that? lol
To lose 5lbs of fat, a person would need to burn at least 17,500 calories.
My goal is to get my butt back in gear and do this damn thing! Losing 25lbs will be a piece of cake...Oh, why did I have to go and type that? Instead of a piece of cake how about a piece of steak? lol You get the idea! Here's to tomorrow.
